Dark lace, bows and spider brooches and chunky oversized knitwear gave a subtle approach to a soft goth interpretation for Les Copains MFW collection.
To opt for a more feminine look, revealing sensual open back sweaters were paired with pleated transparent long skirts, floral black beaded embroidery, nude like ruffled shear organza blouses, long golden shiny satin or plaid masculine coats, tartan and cherry motifs on knits and playing with lingerie as outerwear giving a strong youthful and feminine flare to the show.
To create a balance, super feminine pieces were paired with double-breasted jackets, crepe vests with satin lapels and fitted blazers like if they were freshly borrowed from a man’s closet. Austere looks with oversized grey turtlenecks were mixed with super sexy ruffled lace skirts and mini pumps.
The heavy “diamond like” earrings, naturally sideway swept soft “messy” hair, rosy cheeks and romantic taupe eyes created a very innocent, naïve and soft look.
Grey, black , cream white and pale pink and green pallets were the core context.
For accessories; Brooches, black bows and beige or black leather fringed mini bags and Plexiglas pumps closed up the looks. Somewhat nostalgic in a way and unexpected, the designer plays with different trends throughout time from retro, boho , soft goth to historical aristocratic periods in time.
